THE STORY ASSEMBLY

In a world that often pulls us toward distraction and surface-level connection, this work offers a way back—to deeper relationships, more meaningful dialogue, and the lived experience of being both seen and heard.

This is not about performance or persuasion. It is a facilitated experience that uses storytelling and the practice of witnessing to help people move beyond surface conversation and into more honest, present, and meaningful ways of relating.

What We Offer

The Story Assembly offers a range of facilitated experiences designed to help people build deeper connection through storytelling and the practice of witnessing.

At its core, this work is about learning, practicing, and experiencing. We offer multiple ways to explore and engage with story—whether through finding your most authentic voice or learning to listen wholeheartedly. Each gathering creates space to connect more deeply with yourself and with others.

THE STORY ASSEMBLY
LIFE UNBOXED

What do we mean by "Life Unboxed?" It’s our tagline—but why not something about storytelling?

Because in this work, story is the tool, not the end goal.

The Story Assembly is designed to create opportunity: to learn how to tell our truths (to testify) and how to hear the truths of others (to witness), in service of something larger—connection.

In a world shaped by distraction, busyness, and surface-level interaction, many of us find ourselves living within familiar roles, patterns, and unexamined narratives. This work offers a way to step outside of those containers—to question the stories we’ve inherited, to speak more honestly, and to listen with greater presence and care.

“Life Unboxed” is the practice of loosening what confines us, making space for new ways of relating, and engaging more fully with ourselves and others.

We are unboxing our lives—one story at a time.

Who This Is For

This work is for those who feel a quiet pull toward deeper connection. For people who sense that something is missing in the way we relate—not dramatically, but subtly—in the conversations that stay on the surface or go unspoken altogether.

It is especially meaningful during seasons of change, when roles shift and relationships evolve, and when we begin to recognize the importance of how we show up with one another.

Why It Matters

This work creates space for something many of us rarely experience: being fully heard, without interruption, interpretation, or the need to perform.

In that space, something begins to shift. People speak more honestly, listen more openly, and connect in ways that feel more grounded and real. Over time, this way of being carries into everyday life—shaping how we relate, how we hold conversation, and how we show up with the people who matter most.
